How to Use OPPO Personal Vault to Hide Files!

Gadgetren – To maintain the privacy of its mobile phone users, OPPO has introduced the Private Safe feature on the ColorOS operating system.

With the presence of this feature, you can hide various types of files such as photos, videos, audio, documents, and much more in it.

You could say that the Personal Safe is also a hidden place so that it cannot be accessed by just anyone, unless you get your approval. Moreover, to open a Private Safe requires an access code in the form of a password, PIN, pattern, or fingerprint scanner.

Those of you who are interested in using the Personal Safe on your OPPO smartphone can directly access it through the following steps.

How to Hide Files in Personal Vault

  • App access Settings on OPPO phone
  • Then, select the menu Privacy
  • Enter the menu Private Safe
  • You will be asked to activate Pattern, Password, or PIN which will be used as a key

  • On page Private Safe, you will be faced with a folder Images and videos, Audio, Documentsand Other Files
  • Select a folder and press the button Add icon + inside circle
  • Select the files you want to save in the vault
  • Press the button Done If you have finished it
  • Later the file will be hidden and can only be seen on the Internet Private Safe

After you save a file in one of the folder categories in the Personal Safe, the file automatically cannot be viewed normally through the Photos or My Files application because it can only be accessed again by opening the Private Safe.

How to Open Files in Personal Vault

  • Open the Settings app on your OPPO phone
  • Select the menu Privacy
  • Then enter the menu Private Safe
  • Enter Password, Pattern, or PIN used
  • If the key is entered successfully, then you are directed to the page Private Safe
  • You can open any of the folders to see the files that have been hidden

You need to know that files that have been hidden can be displayed or viewed again through the Photos or My Files application by setting them to set as Public.

After the selected file already has the Public attribute, then you can immediately view it as usual without a Private Safe. Of course, this is practical and easy for even ordinary users of OPPO cellphones to do.

With the presence of the Personal Safe feature by default on OPPO phones, you can immediately hide files without the need to install third-party applications that are usually available on the Google Play Store.
