With the presence of a QR code, people who see it can easily scan via cellphone anywhere and anytime to get related information provided by the maker. The good news is that this QR code feature is already available in Indonesia and you can use it freely.
But you need to update Instagram first so that it becomes the latest version on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Later you can save the QR code on your cellphone and at any time you can show it to the person you want for certain purposes.
How to Share Instagram Posts Via QR Code
- Open the Instagram app on your phone.
- Select the Instagram post you want to share via QR code.
- Tap the three-dot button on the desired Instagram post.
- Tap the QR code button to the right of the Link menu icon.
- Tap the Save QR code button.
- Switch to the Gallery folder and select the saved QR code image.
- Then tap the Share button.
You can share the QR code to various platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Google chat, email, TikTok, Twitter, and many more. You need to remember that the QR code on Instagram for the Indonesian region can only share posts in the form of photos, Reels, IG TV through Feeds or profile pages.
Meanwhile, to share QR code posts on the Reels tab on the profile page, unfortunately it is not yet available. It’s different for global users where the feature of sharing Reels itself on the profile page can already be enjoyed.
