How to Share and Scan WiFi Barcodes on Xiaomi Mobiles to Connect Directly

Gadgetren – Sharing the password from the WiFi that is being used is now very easy to do. Those of us who use Android-based devices can even take advantage of the QR Code system.

By utilizing this system, we can also share a WiFi network that is currently connected very easily. We in this case at least no longer need to type or remember the password.

To use the QR Code system, we don’t even need to install third-party applications. Some Android interfaces already embed this support as a built-in feature which is available by default since we bought the device.

  • Go to page Settings
  • Go to settings for Wi-Fi
  • Tap option Tap to share password on connected WiFi
  • Scan the QR Code from the cellphone you want to connect

  • Tap Done If you have finished it
  • Close Settings page

As described above, the MIUI system also comes with support for barcode scanning from shared WiFi. Those of you who don’t know how to access it can listen in more detail in the following steps.

  • Go to settings Wi-Fi on page Settings like the previous step
  • Tap Scan QR Code (lined square icon) in the top right corner
  • Point the camera at the shared WiFi QR Code
  • Make sure the QR Code fits into the grid that appears on the screen

If successful, the Xiaomi cellphone will automatically connect to a WiFi connection. So we will no longer need to tap on the SSID or enter the password from the network manually.

It’s just that you need to remember that not all Xiaomi phones will support this WiFi barcode sharing and scanning feature. If so, we need to take advantage of third-party applications such as Google Lens.
