How to Reset OPPO HP so that system conditions return to prime

Gadgetren – OPPO has presented a variety of mobile phones in Indonesia from the lower, middle, and upper classes that each have their own features.

On OPPO phones there is ColorOS which is the result of a modification of the Android operating system with a simple interface and themes that can be arranged according to the user’s wishes.

But there are times when you have been using it for a long time, OPPO cellphones experience problems like most other cellphones so you need to reset the system so that it can run normally again.

Actually, the problem is not only about the system experiencing errors or the application is hit by a bug, but sometimes it can also be on the connectivity side such as Bluetooth, WiFi, and cellular networks so doing a reset can be the most practical solution.

How to Reset OPPO Phone

Melalui Factory Reset

  • Open the app Settings on OPPO phone
  • Enter the menu System settings
  • Select Back up and reset
  • Choose an option Reset phone
  • Tap Erase all data to reset the operating system
  • In the pop-up menu that appears, press the button Erase data
  • Press the button Erase data again when absolutely sure
  • Enter password, PIN, or Pattern if needed
  • Next, the OPPO phone will turn off and turn on again automatically
  • After the process is complete and successful, then you will return to the initial settings page like when the OPPO cellphone was first turned on

Actually you can also type keywords Factory Reset on the search page to directly access the menu Erase all data if you don’t find the menu. Although the Factory Reset method has a great opportunity to repair the system, all the data contained in the cellphone will be lost.

For this reason, you should first back up your data to another storage so that it can later be returned to the device after the Factory Reset process is complete.

Meanwhile, if you really can’t enter the Home Screen page because only the OPPO logo appears when it’s turned on, then you need to access Recovery Mode.

Via Recovery Mode

  • Turn off OPPO phone
  • After the device turns off, press the button volume down + power simultaneously until the OPPO logo appears on the screen
  • Release the power button while keeping volume down
  • Later it will appear Recovery Mode if it succeed
  • Use button power to select menus and buttons volume for navigation between menus
  • Select the menu Wipe Data
  • Select the menu Format Data
  • Wait until the process is complete
  • The system will reboot and bring up the initial setup menu

One thing to note, you have to let the data be lost when using Recovery Mode because you can’t enter the Home Screen to make a backup first.

In addition to Factory Reset, there is also a menu that you can use to restore network settings if you can confirm that the problem is only in the connectivity section.
