Gadgetren – The WhatsApp messaging application service is back with a new feature that allows users to upload voice notes or voice messages to WhatsApp status.
Previously WhatsApp could only upload WhatsApp status in the form of photos, videos and text only. Now with the presence of the status in the voice note format, WhatsApp users can share the status in the audio version that was recorded directly.
The WhatsApp voice note status feature hasn’t been officially launched yet, so it’s still being tested via the Beta version by a limited number of users. But so are blog sites WABetainfo has leaked that this feature can only be used for Android devices with WhatsApp Beta version 2.23.2.8.
Apart from WABetainfo, several netizens have also provided ways to make voice notes on WhatsApp status. Similar to creating a status, only now there will be a special microphone button available to record sound directly.
According to the monitoring of the Gadgetren team itself, the Galaxy A72 5G mobile device has not yet received the Beta version. But according to WABetainfo, here are the steps you need to take to make voice notes on WhatsApp status.
How to Make Voice Notes on WhatsApp Status
- Log in to the WhatsApp application on your mobile phone.
- Tap the menu tab Status to create voice notes.
- Tap the button pencil in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Tap the icon button microphone at the bottom center of the screen.
- Give it a title by tapping the icon Text.
- Then pin it emoji and color that fits.
- Tap the button arrow direction to the right in the lower-right corner of the screen to go live.
According to WABetainfo, the duration of voice notes on WhatsApp status is limited to only 30 seconds. If we want to cancel a recorded voice message, it can be undone by tapping the microphone slide button to the left and tapping the trash icon button to delete.
Just like other WhatsApp statuses, the voice note status has also been end-to-end encrypted and only appears for 24 hours because it will be automatically deleted after that time. Regarding when this feature will be released, WhatsApp has not provided further information at official blog site so we have to wait for it.
